Would adding a programmable time delay relay in the circuit solve the problem / eliminate the need for a switch? I used Beuler time delays on a cornering lighting circuit set to 3 seconds to smooth out trigger from turn signals flashing . I think you could program the drlay on the relay for the number of seconds the radio takes to boot up and then have the dongle do its double ground pulse at the right time.

The harmonic balancer at the end looks new. Did you swap that as well? Mine is in about the same condition as the one in the beginning of this video and I am wondering if it’s worth putting a new one in or if I should just leave it alone.

I just put a new belt on a year after I bought it and used this video as a refresher. Took it a step further and replaced the tensioner while I was in there and could not get the belt to clear the alternator how you did on installation due to the lip on the pulley. I left it loose around the tensioner instead and it slipped right on the first try!

You forgot to change the sway bar bushing there the ones that go bad and creates all that clunking going down the road .Now your going to have too do it all over again to do the job the right way and replace the bushings also.

Good video but If you're going to do the brakes right, I would replace the caliper hardware before putting new brake pads on. If you don't, built up dust and contaminated will make the caliper work harder to slide and wear out your outer pads faster than the inner pads. They make hardware for a good reason.

I would pull three bolts off the vertical legs, drill through to the side cabinet, and bolt the two together.
